Vicki Carter accepted the position of Group Manager and will commence the role from early next week. Each year the Quality Scouting Award is granted to sections and/or Groups that meet certain criteria over the preceeding 12 months. Venturer Scouts are aged 14 to 18 years and actually help run the Unit with the Adult Leaders acting more as guides to help the youth work towards the pinnacle of the Venturer Scout Award Scheme, the Queens Scout Award.
