Jamboree On The Air

JOTA/JOTIJOTA is an annual event in which Scouts and Guides from all over the world speak to each other using Amateur Radio. JOTA was first held in 1958, and since then has resulted in thousands of youth exchanging information and details with youth from all parts of their country and the world.

Jamboree On The Internet

In 1996, with the internet becoming more popular, Jamboree On The Internet was added to the annual JOTA event, allowing youth to share information and details with youth via dedicated Scout internet chatrooms. This also helps teach the younger youth members how to safely use internet chatrooms.
