Investiture Badges
When youth members are invested they receive a number of badges that need to be sewn onto their new uniforms. The following is a guide to the placement of these initial badges. If you like you can download this information in a PDF format - click here to download.

When youth members are invested into our Group they will receive the following badges:
- World Membership Badge (Scout emblem badge)
- Australian Flag Badge (Scouts Australia badge)
- Group Name tag (Cessnock City)
- Section Name tag (Wakalatoe Mob/Pack/Troop or Birralee Unit)
- Hunter & Coastal Region badge
- Round Scarf Badge (Cessnock City)
- FOR CUBS: A colour patch (black, white, red or grey)
- FOR SCOUTS: A Patrol Emblem patch (Kookaburra, Redback Spider, Tasmanian Tiger, or Scorpian)
